Cardio Tennis is similar to interval training which is periods of high intensity followed by short periods of rest. A true cardio tennis workout is typically 6-8 players per court, using the agility ladder, Cardio balls (red and orange tennis balls), and music.
While participants are playing tennis, their focus is primarily on getting a great workout
Currently Cardio tennis classes are on twice a week and our fully qualified instructor is one of our club coaches - Tommy Rochford (see coaching page). To enter for a 6 week class course put your name down on the club notice board in the Cardio fitness section.
